Announcing the 2020 Data Impact Awards Finalists

Announcing the finalists of the Data Impact Awards is always a highlight in our annual Cloudera calendar, and this year is no different. The 2020 entrants have shown incredible data-driven innovation, problem-solving ability and have proven real-world impact.

Our independent judges certainly had their jobs cut out for them, as they were faced with an overwhelming number of outstanding entries. We’re glad to say that with vigour, dedication and a good deal of passionate discussion, they have worked tirelessly to select the shortlist. Each of the finalists embodies what the Data Impact Awards stand for — recognizing organizations that have through a data-led culture, superior technology, a pioneering spirit and the belief that things can be done differently, and better, showcased that what is thought impossible today, can be possible tomorrow.

We are thrilled that the finalists include organizations from a wide variety of industries and come from all corners of the globe. And we’re even more thrilled that each of them has a valuable story to tell. So without further ado, the 2020 finalists are:

The winner of this brand new award will be announced during the virtual celebration.

We cannot express enough gratitude to our judging panel (see below), who have given up their incredibly valuable time. Each individual on the panel has a sharp perspective on technology trends and industry momentum, given their backgrounds as industry analysts and journalists focusing on data management, advanced analytics, and data science. To hear more from the winners, and our judges, please join our virtual celebration on November 18 — 9:00am Pacific/12:00pm Eastern/5:00pm BST/6:00pm CEST — during which we will celebrate the winners, learn more about their stories, and accomplishments and find out who will join the Cloudera Wall of Fame.
