Elastic is expanding in Austin, London, and Singapore and adding 100 inside sales positions

I joined Elastic almost eight months ago as vice president of the US commercial segment. During these whirlwind eight months, I was recently promoted to vice president of our new global Inside Sales team — a rapidly expanding team that’s energetic, ambitious, and full of opportunities.

As part of that growth, we’re hiring 100 inside sales people who will be based in our office hubs in Austin, London, and Singapore. But we’re not only hiring sales reps — in the coming months we’ll also be bringing on additional roles to support our growth in all three hubs. This is an exciting chance to join a growing sales team at a company that builds three solutions on a single stack — empowering customers to get more value out of their data across a diverse set of use cases.

What is Inside Sales?

At Elastic, Inside Sales aims to better serve our customers by helping them harness the power of our products and solutions on Elastic Cloud. Inside Account Executives own a set of customers from end to end, working closely with those customers to find solutions to their problems and develop new use cases. Our Inside Sales team is already one of the fastest-growing teams at Elastic, and our initiative to grow the team even further and establish Inside Sales hubs in Austin, London, and Singapore is strategic to our business.

At Elastic, there is immense potential for growth as a sales professional — whether that’s moving into a field-based account executive role or into a cross-functional role on our Solutions Architecture or Marketing teams.

In addition to Inside Account Executives, in all three hub cities we’ll be hiring Sales Development Representatives, Solution Architects, Sales Managers, Sales Directors, Cloud Onboarding Specialists, and Customer Success Managers, as well as leadership roles to support those functions.
